Silence had devoured all the senses of the few people there. The deafening sound of bullets was still ringing in their ears. Everyone's visage showed no sign of reactions as if their nervous system had been shut down for maintenance. Vacant gazes were shot at each person in the room. The uncertainty of what happened shook their worlds.
They stood for a moment still but it felt like infinity. They finally filled with mindfulness and had come out of their oblivion state. A sickening and horrible sight gagged their throats.
A gruesome, bloody battlefield left them astonished and terribly martyred.
Their feelings were nothing but tormented. The scene left them with a sad and angered impression:
Many people laden with blood-soaked clothes and lifeless faces.
The sound of wails were the last thing they ever heard
(The topic terrorism had always intrigued me. It gave me sense of imagination to feel what other people may have gone through. Many people sacrificed their lives for us. Any big amount of gratitude cannot measure their courage and confidence. I may not know how a bullet going through my chest feels but I do know others have taken it to protect us)
